Avatar View cart button on shop page

Hi there

I have may 3 items displayed on the shop page, the DVD as an add to cart button. When I click this the “view cart” pop up doesn’t appear like it does after adding an item to the cart from the product pages. Any tips on how I can get this pop up happening on the shop page?
