Avators not showing up in IE

Hi there – on my blog at https://urbanflyfisher.com/ Avators do not appear in the comments section or in my forum.

https://urbanflyfisher.com/lookin-after-the-missus/They show up fine in Chrome and firefox so it just appears that IE does not want to show them – there is just the wee box with an x – any ideas why?
