Average Attacks

    Hi,

    does anyone know what the average should be of attacks? Or what the experience has been?

    Since installing the plugin one of our sites has had 123 attacks identified by the plugin. That seems to be a lot. The reason I ask, if it is out of the ordinary, we may considering moving the site to a new location or taking other measures.

    I guess the overall question here is if a WordPress sites is vulnerable to such a high volume of attacks.

    Hello Richard,

    The average blocked attacks for non-multisite networks in our records is 4,132. You are well below that, so I wouldn’t be alarmed.

    You can always check with your hosting provider or server admin to get a better look at vulnerabilities, and see if there is a lot of suspicious activity beyond what we report.
