Hi, while developing a business listing website (WordPress multisite with 2 sites) I noticed that the empty website (no users) uses about 90Mb of RAM (no traffic yet, the website is in maintenance mode). When I upload the first 2000 users in the database (using the import tool built in with my theme, Listingo) the RAM usage rockets up to 270 Mb. I do not upload any image in the library at this step.
The database size is about 70Mb. I was wondering whether this was normal or not. What is the memory usage that i should expect with 10-20K users (most of them inactive, I expect 1-2 hundreds of unique visitors/month).
Thank you very much, I only developed small websites so far, no wordpress e no users; Thus, I need your guidance.
Thank you very much for your help.

I answer to myself in case anyone else was having the same issue. No, it is not normal to have such a RAM usage merely for adding users in the database. The issue was with a (poorly developed) prepackaged plugin of the theme Listingo, which was constitutively querying the user database in each page, thus slowing down everything. Adding the users to the database does not increase RAM consumption now, only -obv- when the db is queried.
