    Good morning,

I’m testing the free version before going any further.

So I chose the “AVIF” format and everything works fine.
I find the images in my download folder.
But according to the browser (chrome, firefox or opera) There is always an image which is not served in the AVIF format and it is not the same image according to the browser.
I checked this on a test page by uploading the images.
You can check it by visiting this test page yourself.
Take the quiz to see the pictures.

Can you help me on this before I upgrade to a paid version???

    Best regards
    Serge

    Hi delsergio,

Can you please send us a few screenshots pointing us to what images are (or not) AVIF? I’m not sure I exactly understand what you mean.

Also, can you please send us screenshots of your ShortPixel settings?

    Thank you,

    Hello Sixaxis,

By wanting to take my screenshots I noticed that there is no longer a problem. All the images appear well in AVIF on the site with the three browsers.

Hope Edge implements this format soon!!!

I imagine that it takes a delay for the images to be called up in the correct format on the site even if they are validated in the wordpress media library.

It may be faster with a paid version ???

It remains for me to see with my host if it is possible for me to modify all my images (about 500) without penalizing my subscription.

    Cordially

    Hi delsergio,

Great to hear it’s solved ??

It’s not about being faster with a paid version (which is not the case, all paid and free plans have the same features and resources, the only difference is the number of credits). I guess you just encountered some caching related issues. I recommend you flushing your cache every time you change something related to your images: How to clear WordPress cache – ShortPixel Knowledge Base

    Have a good one!
