    Hello,

    I’ve just finished taking a tonne of product photos and processed them through lightroom to output as AVIF file formats, given the massive gains in load speed, quality and file size.

    I was excited to use your plugin, but see that there’s no support (or doesn’t appear to be) for AVIF files.

    Given that this file format is likely the future of image compression on the internet, is there any plan to support it?

    WordPress 6.5 is scheduled for release the first week of April, and will offer native support for AVIF files.

    I’m a pro purchaser of your software, and congratulations on doing a good job to date.

    Hey @pthomson87! ??

    Until now, AVIF hasn’t been supported by WordPress, so the plugin didn’t handle this format. We will now explore integrating this feature. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
