• Hello,

I have the Modern Image Formats plugin installed and in the settings it says that my server does not support “AVIF”

But I did the phpinfo test and got these results…

In other words, I have PHP Version 8.2.21 installed on the server with Imagick with “AVIF” support

    What will be wrong?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply,

I am responsible for my “Server”, it is running on a NAS with “Synology Web Station”.

Everything is working, and as in “phpinfo.php” I have an indication of “AVIF support”, I would like to know what tests I can do to see where the problem could be and try to resolve it.

The website in question is on my profile ??

Once again thank you very much.

    Hi ?ngelo,

The message you are seeing indicates WordPress is not detecting AVIF support. Can you try visiting Tools->Site Health->Info and taking a screen shot of the Media section, this will give us a view of how WordPress sees your image support.

    Hello,

    Here it is:

Contrary to what it says in “phpinfo”, it no longer mentions support for AVIF

I would say use WebP for now until you can get your server upgraded. Once WordPress detects AVIF support you will be able to use it.
