AVIF unwanted

  • Hello,
    today I uploaded a jpg and it becomes an AVIF file, the “original file” is stated as the jpg in question. And there is the remark, that the AVIF can not to be processed by Shortpixel. And I have no access to the jpg – this jpg is not listed in the media page!
    What is that, never had this before!? (tested with other jpgs and it is the same)
    Is the latest Shortpixel update the cause of this?

    ShortPixel 6.1.1, WP 6.7.1

    Hi there!

    That sounds strange; our plugin does not remove the JPG file in any circumstance. Could you please deactivate all plugins except ShortPixel and try again? If the issue is still happening, could you send us a screen recording so we can see exactly what’s happening?
