    Hello @spmvision,

Which update? The last update of this plugin was ~2 months ago.

The attached message from GTMetrix simply means that your <body> element contains a number of child elements, and while it does include a Complianz attribute as well; it also many other items that are not related to this plugin. It seems rather unlikely that this is the sole cause of the slow website though.

You can always test whether the behavior improves after disabling specific plugins from your website, to determine which plugin(s) might be contributing to a decreased performance.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Yes the last update I guess was 2 months ago, we are doing the disabling of plugins but gtmetrix , I say this in the element data-cmplz=”1″ maybe is related to the cookies ? I don’t know why it mentions for the DOM size cmplz

    Hello @spmvision,

The total amount of child elements is the result of the combination of all plugins and such on your site which may add those elements, not just Complianz.

In the case of Complianz, it adds an attribute such as data-cmplz=”1″, simply to to indicate that the Cookie Blocker has parsed the page. Such an attribute is not an issue on it’s own.

    Kind regards, Jarno
