Avoid auto-publish of non blog posts

  • As many plugins (as MetaSlider or Download manager) use to add a row in the WP_POST table for each slide or file loaded, to avoid incorrect auto-publish resulting in a File not found error 404, is there the possibility to exclude this kind of posts?

    Generally these posts doesn’t have a category.

    Please go to plugin Settings Page -> Filters and include only “post” in the post types section. Alternatively you can exclude unnecessary post types.

    Thank you for your patience but I’ll try to explain the issue better: many plugins are starting to use Custom Post Types

    As an example, a popular filemanager plugin like WP Download Manager create a Custom Post Type for each file uploaded in WP.

    If you set Auto-publish option in Nextscript, it actually doesn’t distinguish between regular posts (that must be auto-published) and custom post types (that must not be published). It just publish everything.

    As you will be dealing with this feature more and more often, I think you should add the functionality of exclude Custom Posts in Autoposting Filters.
