avoid Double discounting

    I have a composite product Skis + ski bindings. Some of the bindings have a discount if you buy only the binding. If the users buy skis and a ski binding they get 10 % discount. But I don’t want that they get the discount of the binding and the 10 % discount for the set (skis + binding). If they buy the set, they should only receive the 10 % set discount.

    Thanks for contacting us here.

    We’ve got your issue, but our plugin will always calculate the composite’s total based on the final prices of component products, which means sale products will have their sale price taken into account. Our plugin will always ignore the regular price of on-sale products.

    There’s one workaround for this that is to use the New price function. You can add only 1 product to each component and set the New price to the regular price of that item. On Discount box for the whole composite, you can enter 10% discount. Now it will work as expected.
