Avoid Maintenance mode plugins when using WP/LR

    Todays tip

    Turn off your, for example, WP Maintenance plugin when using WP/LR or else you might see the WP/LR Sync error where it says that the connection to your website works but LR cannot communicate with it.

    After turning it off, if you have done the other fixes suggested by the plugin FAQ to avoid this issue, it works without problems!

    Hmmm. I discovered this today!

    Mmm, actually it’s a bit more complex than that ?? Any plugin that fails or display an error will actually stop WP/LR Sync to work properly. So it’s not only Maintenance mode plugin but any plugin that displays errors or breaks during normal runtime. I have been thinking of a way to catch those errors and display them properly, unfortunately too many times it looks like WP/LR Sync is failing as it is another plugin. The best way is to check the PHP error logs, that is the best ??
