Avoid server Safe Mode

  • Before this post, I have the CGI error: The specified CGI application misbehaved by…

    Now I talk with my server provider and he told me that for some trouble the server is with php’s Safe_Mode=ON.

    Any way to avoid this?

  • I don’t know about that exact error, but I just had to ask my ISP to turn off safe-mode – to make a crucial plugin run.

    It remains to see if I now run the risk of being hacked.

    (The plugin is the socalled WPremix editor, necessary to make the WPremix theme work.)
