• Downloaded and installed the recent v3.0.1 update. Now the Upcoming Events widget displays poorly formatted garbage, the Calendar Page displays poorly formatted garbage and the Event page displays poorly formatted garbage. It is unusable as a plugin and makes the website look like crap.

Have emailed Time.ly several times seeking assistance or at least the ability to download and revert back to a previous working version but have yet to hear back. Crickets. Assume they are overwhelmed by this broken update?!?!

Did they even test it before pushing it out?!?!

  • The same here. It’s unbearable that there isn’t even a hint or reaction. ??

    Thread Starter Steve

    (@smeyersr)

Finally heard back from them. They stated the problem was that I was using an “older,” “outdated platform” which was no longer supported. However, they suggested I could try accessing the WordPress site dashboard then selecting Events followed by Theme Options and clicking on the Save Options button at the bottom of the page.

Whatever “magic” that performs, it fixed the site.

I thanked them then questioned how I was using an “older,” “outdated platform” which is no longer supported when it was still listed as an active product on the www.ads-software.com Plugins site, shows having been updated in the last week and that the current version was the one I was using.

I could not make sense of the attempt to explain the problem so I just thanked them for the suggestion which fixed my problem and closed the ticket.

Good luck. I hope the suggestion works for you.

I had the same issue on my site since 3.0.1, with many customers asking me what did we do…
The solution that Steve brought to us on this thread is working for now (25.09.23).

    Just go to :
WordPress Dash / Event Tab / Theme Option
And then only have to save.

It solved everything for me !

Thank you @smeyersr and @miingomay! It works! ??

Had the same problem. Thank you @smeyersr! You saved me hours of trying to come uyp with a fix. The fix worked for me although I had to “save” a few times and clear the cache for the fix to be visible.
