    I’ve been using v2.6.12 of the Woocommerce Stripe Gateway plugin with WC v2.5.5

    The documentation states this plugin supports AVS, however I have had a number of fraudulent transactions successfully go through my site because no billing address information was being supplied to Stripe from Woocommerce.

    I am posting this here as I cannot find any other place to report issues with v2.6.12

    Has anyone else reported such an issue, or is there a setting I have missed? I have ticked both CVC and postcode verification in my Stripe dashboard.

  • Hello, I installed the plugin and test mode works well, when I remove test mode and make a real purchase, on the checkout page the following error message: card_declined: Your card was Declined. Your request was in test mode, but used to test non card. For a list of valid test cards, visit: https://stripe.com/docs/testing
    I tried to disconnect the plugins and change the theme, but it still does not work.
    Can anybody help me?

    jmgiacalone see where the transaction came from – pay page, checkout etc. And was it stripe checkout or regular. Billing is sent with both afaik.

    Hello Mike,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I have enabled Stripe Checkout under Woocommerce|Settings|Checkout|Stripe

    I believe the payment was made from the checkout page.

    Please let me know if I can send you more details to investigate.

    If you’re on WC 2.5, maybe test under v3.0.1 since this was updated.

    Wanted to mention that billing data didn’t get sent with Checkout for me either with 3.0.2 on WooCommerce 2.6.0

    Disabling Checkout and using the inline form sent billing details as expected. Any chance of getting billing data sent with Checkout for AVS purposes?

    I’m also not getting any billing address details passed to stripe with Stripe Checkout enabled too, using version 3.0.2 with woocommerce version 2.6.4
