No, I’m afraid the reset bug is not fixed. It is only a cosmetic fix.
The Away Mode Start time and End time controls will perhaps be reset today or most probably tomorrow (it depends on the actual Start and End time chosen)…
If you subsequently click on any of the “Save All Changes” buttons on the iTSec plugin Settings page (because eg you changed some other setting) the reset Start and End time controls values will be stored in the database.
From that moment on your Away Mode Start and End time are reset.
The content of the extra Away Mode status info (visible because of the cosmetic fix) will then confirm that the start and end times are reset.
The reason why it takes another day for the Start and End time controls to reset is because when you set a Start and End time the iTSec plugin adds 24 hours to it.
Example. Today you set Daily Away Mode:
Start time=12:00 AM
End time=08:00 AM
These values are stored in the database as unix dates of tomorrow (not today).
So after 08:00 AM the day AFTER tomorrow the Start and End Time controls values will be reset.
From then on you run the risk of accidentally resetting the Away Mode Start and End time stored in the database as described earlier in this post.
There is 1 situation that you will not notice any difference.
This is when you decide to set the Start and End time to 12:00 AM and
06:00 AM. Your chosen values are then identical to the reset values.
I hope this clarifies things a bit. Keep an eye on it and you will see.
