Awesome, bulletproof plugin

  • I have 15,000 images hosted on AWS S3 behind a Cloudfront CDN. This plugin converted them to WebP’s with no problems, then uploaded them to the CDN. Since I didn’t compress any existing images it didn’t cost me a cent, except for AWS hosting charges.
    (NOTE: To be kind to my hosting provider, I used a delay of 3 seconds between image conversions.)
    I contacted support with a few questions and got quick, friendly, helpful replies.
    I’m glad I installed EWWW Image Optimizer and would recommend it.

    Thanks for sharing your experience @neilius ! We really want to encourage folks to use WebP, as it can be a huge speed up for sites, so we do everything we can to make that a reality ??
