Awesome little plug-in (solved a crucial problem for me)

Thank you for a fantastic little plug-in that solved a crucial problem for me (exporting the featured images of a large site (almost 2,000 posts) in order to import them into a new version of the site on another host).

I only have one suggestion:

It would be great if the plug-in allowed you to set the date range for the featured images (posts) you wish to export, similar to WP’s core export tool.

The reason is that importing the featured images back into another site is so resource-intensive for a large site (in my case, approx. 2,000 posts ALL with featured images) that it can hang the server (even a dedicated server with 4GB of RAM).

I solved it “manually” by editing the exported XML file your plug-in generated and breaking it up into smaller XMLs that the new site/server was able to handle, but it would be incredibly useful if the date range could be set directly at export (in order to generate smaller XML files).
