Awesome plugin! Options & Bugs

  • Hi wpsoul,

    Really awesome plugin, saved me a whole bunch of time and would really like some additional options added to the plugin to make it more advanced.

    *Feature requests*

    Flip table: I think this would help alot with the responsive issue not working on filling from columns. I could just flip the table with a button then duplicate it, save it as a different table then I would be able to offer one table(filled by cols) to desktop users and the other to mobile users(filled by rows).

    Float header w/ scroll: Freeze the top column so that it floats while the user is scrolling down. I currently have a 9col 26row table and having that top column float along as the scroll would be very helpful with allowing the person to remember which data is associated with what main column

    Header colors: Ability to give specific headers different colors

    Bug:
    When html img src code is inside a cell and you switch columns the image becomes visible. If you swap any columns again the data is lost from that cell. Sometimes it also deletes the data from the row below that row that contained the img src code.

    Not sure if this is a bug: but The %COL CHOICE% and %COL CHOICE IMG% does not work for me, im guessing the Customizr theme I am using is overwriting its css? The %COL CHOICE% is not visible at all and the %COL CHOICE IMG% floats to the top-right of the website.

    1. You don’t need flip – I updated plugin and now you can choose type of responsive script – by row or by columns

    2. Float header – yes, this is in TODO.

    3. Header color – there is such option already

    For other bug – do you have link on page with %COL CHOICE% enabled table?

    Can’t find error on page. Is it possible that you give me export file of your table and I will test it on my local server?

    shows on 5 different browsers the %COL CHOICE% is not visible on any of them.

    Anyways this is of low importance to me, don’t stress it’s probably the theme I am using causing the problems.

    I would much rather have the floating header on the editor and the published table ??

    No, I mean another. I see that there is no featured col on page, but I don’t see any js errors or css errors and this is strange.

    I watched your video again and saw that you put %COL CHoice% in row 2. I was putting it in row 1(in the header). It is now visible on the page but the editors choice image is too small to fit in row 2(overall) so I have removed it.

    So basically %COL-CHOICE% %COL-CHOICE-IMAGE% both, do not work if placed in the header.
