Awesome slider and …

Hi – kudos to creating an AWESOME slider … this works beautifully on a subsite on a WordPress Multisite Network ver 3.2.1 and even holds together in IE 6.0 – way cool so thank you!

I also love how you can add a link to a slide to an external url per the example in one of the images you included as part of zip :>)

Question – do you have an example of an XML File in use ..??.. the post and media gallery options are pretty straight forward but i’m uncertain how to construct an XML file properly for the plugin hence the question …

Also, I had a couple ideas for possible feature consideration down the road and share as fyi in case you said, “hmmm. double hmmm.” … ideas =

a) hover over captions when hideTools = true … here again, i really appreciate the option to hide the prev next arrows and slide pagination via the hideTools option … yet part of me thought it might be cool to have the slide title (or even excerpt text) also appear during the hover over and then dissappear when moused out of slide …

b) link to exeternal urls … the Link:https://somedomain.com option in the post text area is cool but then i got to thinking -> would be extra neat if we could add alt / title tags as well as target=”_blank” attributes to said links … perhaps a shortcode option down the road ..??..

c) additional sliders … i saw another post about this option and that it might be something you’d consider adding so i just wanted to echo the other thread and say “me too – that’d be sweet option” … if so, you might want to look at AnythingSlider -> https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/anythingslider-for-wordpress/ -> as their solution allows use of shortcodes on per slide basis to overwrite the default plugin settings …

lastly, just wanted to say thanks again as i tested a bunch of slider plugins for WP and by far, yours is the cleanest, most reliable (browser performance that is) i’ve come across … to be continued … cordially, chuck scott
