  • Ben, thanks for the great plugin. You may want to do something so when searching the WP plugins library for “code editor” or “theme editor” you show up. I couldn’t find you easily until I searched “wp editor”.

    Question please, I’m getting a red “+ css” next to one of my folder names which is named “css”. I searcherd but couldn’t find any reference as to why the red folder name?

    Thanks for the great review!

    I will see about adding in the tags for code editor and theme editor.

    Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you are getting? I am assuming that this means that the folder is not writable, which means you could not upload any files to that folder specifically. If a file has an x and is red, it also means that you cannot update that file in the editor.

    Can you try to upload a file to that directory and see if that works?

    the upload function doesn’t seem to be working for any folder. tried it a few times with just a .txt file to different folders, and it doesn’t give any error, and the file is not up there. i verified with an ftp client. doesn’t matter if i have the red css folder selected or no folders selected. thanks.

    I am sorry for the delay in responding. I believe that the issue is that your permissions on those folders are not set correctly to allow any uploads. If you are still having this issue, check and see what the permissions are on each folder and see if your web service has the ability to modify/edit the files.
