    Hi,
I am trying to create tickets on behalf of user using REST API provided by awesome support.
I can create a ticket but the author of the ticket is always set to only the user with id 1. If I try to pass id of another user in author parameter of the API it crashes.

I believe the field Created By in the ticket is mapped on author and Created By is the actual field that I want to set when I create the ticket.

May be I am doing something wrong.

This is the API I am trying to use. https://developer.getawesomesupport.com/documentation/rest-api/create-a-ticket/

I have tried their support but they don’t.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi @muzammil25,

Yes, we apologize for this situation, we offer the documentation for the REST API as you shared in the post but we can do is to send a report to the developers for investigation.

    Thanks.

Thanks but I have already got in contact with your support team and they were not welcoming.
It’s been 3 weeks since I have been chasing them on the issue and I haven’t heard a proper solution.
