I’m loving the fact that this plugin notifies me of security threats to my site in real time.

At one point it may have saved my site from a pretty sophisticated international attack – I apparently had a bot at my door, trying to log in and getting locked out of the site ever 15 minutes. iThemes security sent me an email with every lockout, and apparently lockouts had been happening all weekend while I’d been at play. I was even able to see that the attacker was masking its IP address, so it appeared to be coming from machines all over the world.

By changing salts and the login and admin urls, I was able to stop the attack – without the plugin I wouldn’t have even known it was happening until it was too late.
