    I am very pleased with this plugin but I’m totally shocked & disappointed at the fact that this product refuse to support ALL kinds of video formats. Are you kidding? It’s been years and you still only support mp4?

    Nobody is asking you to convert the formats. Let us upload them. Let us figure out what players we want for our formats? Give us a PLAYER option. There are LightBox plugins that support every format.

    This is the biggest drawback and main reason why I am not willing to buy this product. It’s broken without multi formats or having to buy rt conversion.

    Anyways good job on the PHOTO part. Not even that works. The ALL media short code is still not working properly.
    Until you offer multi-format at users option without forcing them to buy rt conversion for Multi format. It’s a seriously broken product. note: not all users camera’s and uploads are mp4 these days.

    Yes, we do not allow all format of files to upload because mp4 is what most of the browsers support. We have the free video encoding service for everyone, its in-built with the plugin which converts videos other than mp4 into mp4 format, you can use it, it’s free. We clearly mentioned that in FAQ https://rtcamp.com/rtmedia/faq/#q1

    Let us figure out what players we want for our formats? Give us a PLAYER option. There are LightBox plugins that support every format.

    How many player options are you supposing we can provide? Every user/site owner has their choices. Someone need xyz player, someone other. Hence we have just given one default player, mediaelement js. And if you are a developer, do check this document -> https://docs.rtcamp.com/rtmedia/developer/allow-custom-media-types/ for how to allow to upload other audio/video media types. To use other media players, you will need to unbind mediaelement player first and then bind your own.

    The ALL media short code is still not working properly.

    Can you tell me what exactly is the issue you are facing with all media shortcodes?

    Ok 5 star for the quick and honest response with possible fixes.

    I’ve been very frustrated that so many things do not work properly with rtMedia. I am not quick to blame rtMedia because themes and other plugins are terrible. Their compatibility issues with rtMedia are outrageous.

    And so I am going to try all of your suggestions and if everything works out as you are suggesting I will be a very happy customer.
