Reports & Signature services added, but no return lables yet

    Woocommerce Services has finally added the reporting and signature required service. Thank you for adding those features. I will look forward to seeing the return labels added as well.

    It’s been a few months since I posted this review. I’m still waiting for the authors to offer reports and additional services. I am frustrated and disappointed by the lack of reports the most. Every month I have to go through 5-6 pages of cc statement, copy and paste the fees into an excel, correct the formatting, and add up the numbers to find out how much I spent on shipping. Not to mention I just discovered that the plugin does not pull the weights for bundle items from Woocommerce Bundle plugin. VERY FRUSTRATING!

    Any updates authors? How long is it going to take for you to figure this out? I hate for this to be a pest but I will stop using this plugin if this issue is not resolved in the next 2 weeks.

    The plugin has several great advantages, however I have to give it a 2-star. Here are my reasons:

    1. This plugin does not have any reporting features. I just spent a few hours MANUALLY adding up our 2017 postage fees for the tax season. I had to download my bank statements, convert pdf to excel, then tally them up. This is AWFULLY frustrating, time-consuming, and can cause error. A simple report would be useful.

    2. You cannot create a return label, so you end up reversing the addresses, printing the label manually and sending it to customers for returns. Once again this is time consuming.

    3. You cannot add any additional services such as signature required…

    I hope you will consider adding these features to the plugin.

    Thanks for your feedback – we value it and do use it to improve our product.

    We are currently working on an export feature for shipping label receipts, and just shipped email receipts for purchases with version 1.12.1.

    Return labels are also in the works.

    I will be looking into signature confirmation soon and prioritizing it for development.

    I was hoping to update you with all of the requested features, but 2/3 will have to do. ??

    WooCommerce Services version 1.13.0 introduced Shipping Label Reporting and USPS Signature Requirement. You can find the report under WooCommerce > Reports > Shipping Labels.

    Another issue. Some addresses are unrecognizable!
    After having printed nearly 1000 labels with this plugin since early 2018 I have found that the plugin does not recognize some addresses. I have created a ticket about this for Woocommerce support, but I am posting it here again in hopes of getting more attention drawn to this issue.

    When creating labels very often the plugin says “the address is unrecognizable.” Most of the time all you have to do is to edit the address. For example change to street to St, road to Rd, North to N and it’s fine. However, in some cases it does not match the address at all regardless of how many possible variations you try. The strange part is when I copy those addresses in Stapms.com software they are recognized. USPS Address Lookup system also matches them.

    I will look forward to seeing this issue resolved. Maybe Woocommerce Services can tap into the same database that Stamps.com uses.

    That would be very helpful. I am currently paying a monthly fee to Stamps.com just to have it as a backup for labels that WS plugin does not recognize.

    I will look forward to seeing this issue resolved.
