    We received this email notice from AWS and the only plugin we are using with S3 bucket is this plugin UpdraftPlus for Backup/Restore. What is the resolution for this, is this something you are updating on your end soon? I can provide more details on this AWS email if needed. Thank you in advance.

    We are reaching out because there are TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1 connections to Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) objects hosted in your account. As AWS is updating the TLS configuration for all AWS API endpoints to a minimum of version TLS 1.2 [1], you must take action as soon as possible for these connections to maintain their access to your S3 objects.

    Hi,

    Which version of TLS to use is a choice made by the PHP setup on your webserver that has UpdraftPlus on it. There must be some old software on it, as modern operating systems either don’t even have older TLS versions, or will default to newer versions.

    If you go to the HTTP fetch tool in UpdaftPlus’s “Advanced Settings” tab, and try to fetch https://tls12.browserleaks.com/ , does it succeed?
