I am running Bitnami WordPress (current version) on an EC2 instance in the AWS cloud. Wordfence will not activate the license correctly because of this:

    IP(s) used by this server
    172.67.196.253,172.31.2.27

Those are the internal, non-routable addresses used by the cloud system. How do I get Wordfence to use the assigned public IP4 address rather than what it is detecting on the server? Is there somewhere to update this?

Hi @vicpylon, thanks for your question.

As you speak of activating the Wordfence license, are you a premium customer? If you are, I recommend opening a support ticket at https://support.wordfence.com. They will be able to assist you faster and more efficiently.

If you aren’t installing a premium key, could you please provide me with precise details about where you are seeing the error about Wordfence not activating the license?

    Thanks,

    Peter.
