AWS not searching in product description?

    Hi,

    When searching for products i noticed AWS is not checking the content although i have enabled it in the settings and did a reindex.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    So, as I understand, you enabled this Content field for index inside the Performance tab. But did you enable the same field for searching inside the Search In option?

    Sorry for the delay.

    Yes i did.

    Further AWS always finds only 20 products instead of many more. Haven’t found an option why this is limited. Any ideas?

    Please open plugin settings page -> Search Results tab and check Products Number option.

    When is disable AWS more products are found. See https://zzdev.nl/?s=zeehond&post_type=product

    There are 501 products, but i guess that’s because of the tag.

    So for the search results page please also check the plugin settings page and scroll to the ‘Search results page’ section. Inside it set values to total search results and results per page options. Perhaps this will help.

    Well i fixed it.

    What i find confusing is the separate setting on the General settings page under Search results page for Max number of results and the separate tab Search Results.

    In my humble opinion all these options are better placed in the tab Search Results.

    Anyway. I have set the correct values and now everything is found as it should be.

    You are right, it is a little misleading. I will move these options in the next plugin releases.
