Azure staging environment

  • Hi all – wanting to get best practice tips on setting up a staging/dev region within Azure for our WordPress site. I know there are plug-ins available but doubt this would be the best/ideal way to go. Thanks for any input!

    I do not, and never have, used Azure.

    However, since the topic here did not receive any input over a week, I will try to help you with something I found online.

    It seems, Azure has an inbuilt Feature called “Deployment Slots” for exactly that task.

    This seems to be the “go to” approach suggested by the community using Azure.

    Apparently it is only available in a certain number of plans, so I am not sure if this will be suitable for your needs.
    The DOC however goes pretty much thru every single steps to take, so it should be simple to follow.
