b2 import now working in 1.01?

  • Hi,
    i’ve read the threads about the problems with the b2 import in Version 1.0. I am a little bit afraid to make the upgrade/update because my weblog has abou 7800 entries…
    Is the import script in the 1.0.1 Release Candidate free of the errors described in the threads?

  • Edlef – I recommend you backup your database, create a new database and import your posts from your backup, then upload 1.0.1, try the upgrade and report back to us. ??

    I think that most b2 upgraders who have problems run in to trouble because they’ve either forgotten to set the proper prefix in their wp-config file, or because they somehow had started out with non-standard table names.

    I have the standard prefix and table names for b2. I will check the upgrade next weekend.
    What do you mean with “create a new database”? I am a little bit stupid ??
    First i will ask a php guru in my company ??
    Would be great if it works ??
