Back button / Page number URL

Hi guys,
I’m using the Infinite Scroll Plugin for my website. It works great but I’m missing the page numbers (counter) in the URL so I’ll get the correct page when I go back. When I click on one of my products (for example product 4 on page 3) and I go back, Infinite Scroll will bring me back to page 1.
Does someone knows how to fix this? I know the jetpacks infinite scroll has a solution for this (https://i.wpne.ws/MjHh/o) but I’d like not to use jetpack..
