back slashes appearing with ‘

    Whenever I use a ‘ , a backslash appears before it. I typed “won’t”, then saved, and it came back with “won\’t”.

    Any ideas?

    ok, apparently this is an age old issue dealing with “magic quotes” in PHP. Trying to disable it now.
