Good plugin

@lexxlevi – Is there a specific reason you feel you cannot recommend this plugin … especially if you were recommending it in the past?

– I recommended it to all my clients and had a lot of trouble to install the new version. (see list in support forum)
– I miss some features, which perhaps are not very essential for you, but for my clients (german translation, ‘search folder’, the possibility to use NG on MU sites with one management)
– I have some sites which uses a lot of galleries and single pics NG. It seems, that these galleries overflow my memory: pictures are suddenly on the wrong page, old galleries disappear, if I create a new on etc. It worked in the past, but not now anymore.
Maybe NG is good for big server but maybe it’s better to use drupal for big sites, not wordpress generally. I thank the developers for the plugin very much and I hope you will resume a good job. I will use external solutions like the inclusion of google+ galleries. It is a better solution for a one man company with mid-sized business.

@lexxlevi – Just following up on some old reviews.

As you know this review was written following a major overhaul of the plugin in version 2.0. At this point, most of the issues related to that overhaul of the plugin have been long addressed.

I’m not sure if you’re still using NextGEN at all, but given the improvements since your review and the current performance of the plugin, a one-star rating seems a bit harsh. We’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating?
