Back To Top: move to top

By default the Back To Top button appears at the lower right of the page. I attempted to move it to the upper right of the page:

generate-back-to-top,
.generate-back-to-top:visited {
top: 30px;
right: 30px;
}

but ended up with a a long arrow from bottom to top of the page.
