  • Hey Fran?ois,

I was unfortunately met with a 404 Not Found error when I went to that Dropbox link ?? https://cloudup.com/cLmwKn5QUyO

Can you try posting another screenshot?

    Thank you!

No problem –?appreciate the fast reply!

That styling unfortunately appears to be because of custom jQuery UI styles from your theme or another plugin overriding the defaults.

In another of your threads here, I recommended running through our troubleshooting steps here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

If you haven’t done those already, I’d recommend either doing them now, or just making sure to check out this Datepicker issue while you are doing those steps for your other issue to kill two birds with one stone.

Let us know what you find!

    Cheers,
    George

Very good eye… It seems that Option Tree is loading jQuery UI separately, and creating a conflict with the Events Calendar as it breaks the date picker. Do you know a fix for this? How can I prevent jQuery UI from other plugins to load on the Events Calendar pages?

    Thanks,
    Fran?ois

    Hi Fran?ois,

It’s really something the developer of the other plugin ought to be taking care of – generally speaking, adding styles and scripts to all admin screens is a bad idea for precisely this reason.

Have you reached out to the author of Option Tree?

Sadly, they do not answer… ??
I thought Option Tree was a “safe” choice as it is (or was?) relatively popular. Hope they hear me and fix this stupid behaviour…

Ditto! And please do keep us posted if the plugin developer has any questions for us that we can help answer from our end.

    Cheers!
    Geoff
