Backend Performance (wp-json/aioseo/v1/ping/)

  • Hello,

    for around the last few weeks the wordpress backend on a 1and1 server when editing eg. pages got slow. From Inspect > Network > Waterfall i can see this call is taking 12s (ages) …wp-json/aioseo/v1/ping/

    If i disable the complete plugin, normal speed is restored. I can reproduce this on this machine easily, not on other providers installations…

    Any idaes?

    Hey @mcian,

    Can you try disabling the TruSEO feature under General Settings > Advanced and see if that makes a difference?

    Awesome! Just as an FYI, we are working on figuring out why TruSEO is causing performance issues for specific posts and we’ll be fixing that soon.
