Backend “Posts” Title Column Messed Up

    Hi,

    My backend “Posts” section is showing the “Title,” “SEO Title,” “Meta Description” and other categories with only one letter in each word on each line.

    So, in effect, a word with 4 letters in it (Blog for example) takes up four lines in my Posts List (rather than taking up only one line, as it should).

    Here’s a link to a snapshot of what I’m talking about:

    Can you please offer advice as to why this is happening and how to resolve it?

    Essentially, you just have two many items displayed there for your screen width.

    You can switch some of those off under the Screen Options tab at the top-right.

    Thanks James. I’ll do that, but I don’t think that’s it. I haven’t ever changed anything in this screen, yet this happened suddenly and arbitrarily.

    It happened once before, some years ago, and someone had a quick fix, but I can’t remember what it was and don’t have my email thread to go to.

    James, tried your fix and it worked. Pretty simple, eh? It isn’t what someone else had me do years ago, but your fix certainly was obvious and effective.
