backend search, problem with category select

  • Hi, I have a problem. In the back-end product page, if I try to search something the 0 value of the option “without category” of the category select activate, even if I don’t select it (and leave the first option selected) and so the search never shows correct results.
    I saw that the get parameter product_cat in the page of the results is in both cases (first and last option selected of that select) valued as 0. WHY? It shouldn’t be empty, if I select the first empty value?

    The same problem on field product_type, but no problem for product_subtype.
    I’m going crazy! Why? Some conflict with theme?!?

    The problem seems to be double fields product_cat and product_type and I wonder why… Anyone have experieced something similar? How did you solve?!
