    Good morning

I have downloaded this plugin and would like a little assistance before deciding whether to purchase the Pro version.

I have over 1000 jobs on my board. I have now been given a supplier feed to pull in more jobs which I would like to use. I would however like these jobs to come up UNDERNEATH the current jobs I have on my site from my clients. Is this possible and if so how is this done?

    Thanks
    Dee

@gojobsearch, at the moment there isn’t an option to allow what you want. Currently, jobs are imported and displayed as “regular” jobs but they do have special metadata that can help separate them. You would need some custom development to be able to show “regular” jobs first and then imported jobs.

Since that’s actually a very popular request I’m adding it on the next release.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Thank you for getting back to me @sebet. Can you confirm when the next release featuring this option is due to be released?

    Many thanks

I’m planning to release within 2 weeks. As part of that release, I’m adding a custom shortcode that you can use to display only imported jobs. As an alternative for the shortcode, I’m also adding an option for enabling a filter on frontend listings so that users can hide/show imported/regular jobs. If tests go well, that s the release plan.

If you’re interested, I’m currently running a Cyber Monday sale (27th November only).

    Use the code: GOCYBER

Applicable to the Pro+ plan on Annual (first payment) or Lifetime licenses.

    Thanks for your interest.

@gojobsearch, this feature is now available on the latest premium version (Pro+ plan). There’s now a custom shortcode that you can use to display only imported jobs.

You can see it in action on the demo site front page. Note that the demo site is currently displaying ‘Imported Jobs’ on top and ‘All’ jobs (regular and imported) below it but you can show completely separate listings through an option on the plugin.

    Good afternoon @sebet

Thank you for letting me know.

What I want to clarify is that I was to display ALL jobs but I want the imported jobs to simply load in underneath the jobs which are added directly to my site. Is this how the feature works?
In other words I dont want to separate them using different shortcodes – I simply want to use [jobs] to display all of my jobs listings with jobs imported using Go Fetch Jobs always loading underneath my jobs posted directly on my site. Is this possible?

    Thanks

@gojobsearch, the new feature can only displays imported jobs using a special shortcode. If you disable it, imported jobs will be displayed with regular jobs. Jobs are ordered by date so, you can have “regular” and imported jobs mixed.

What you want could be done with a filter that would sort jobs by type (regular or imported) and then date.
