    No google wont allow us to remove the background color.

    But Now they start supporting theme. But as of now i dont have that feature but once its gets done i will update the plugin again.

    I did update the plugin to 1.2 version please use this version. It got more option available now. Like

    • Layout
    • Badge type
    • Theme
    • Display Cover Photo
    • Show Tagline

    I hope version 1.2 helps.

    But i am sure Google won’t allow you to changed the Background Image.
