I’ve had a look at the Esther-theme. It seems to be over two years ago when it last had an update. It may not support current / future versions of WP. You might want to check out current themes instead.
All themes can be changed to your preferences, some more easily then others.
This theme doesn’t provide many easily adjustable features.
This means you’ll have to make these changes in the ‘style.css’.
Why not find a more modern theme and ‘insert’ the headerimage of this theme, which I suspect is the ‘interesting bit’ of this theme?
