Background-color

I was able to reproduce your issue. The Twenty Twenty-One theme gets the color set on Customizer > Colors & Background and also use it on your editor, so please note that this behavior is caused by the theme and not by our plugins.

I can’t say which function on your theme applies that, so I recommend opening a new forum thread on that theme support forum at https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/twentytwentyone/ and their developers will be able to tell you how to disable the theme background colors on your post/custom post type editing screens.

Thank you very much for your quick answer.

In the page editor and the post editor the background is black and the texts are “white”, so I see where I can type text or add blocks.

However, in the event editor the background is black and the texts are dark colors, so I don’t see where I can type text or add blocks.

If I change the background color of the WP editor to white, I will have the problem when I edit pages and posts because the white text will not show on the white background.

How can I change the background color only in the event editor?

Alternatively, how can I change the color of texts only in the event editor? Because if I change the general text color of events to white, I will have the problem in the display of events or calendar…

Hi @pedroasecas,

Kindly try adding following lines of code to functions.php file of your theme and see if it helps change the background color of block editor while editing events,

add_action('admin_head', 'tec_block_editor_background_color');
function tec_block_editor_background_color() {
  echo '<style>
  	.post-type-tribe_events .editor-styles-wrapper {
      background-color: white !important;
    } 
  </style>';
}

Works! Now the background is white in the event editor and I can see the places to type well.

Also, as expected, in the page editor the background is still black and the text is white.
