Background color does not work

  • I want to use a custom background color and this does not work with the post page where the featured image is transparent. I get a hard line instead of the background color blending behind the featured image.

    Trying to get Longform to work for my site but I may have to with another theme. Would Longform Pro work better?

    Is it possible to make the featured image not transparent when you scroll? This would allow a color background.
    I prefer a fixed solid image anyway and one where the title disappears when you scroll which I have seen elsewhere.

    From what I can see you are using jpg featured image and it is not transparent.
