Our multisite has used the front-end posting plugin for a long time. However, in the past year or two, an odd thing has happened. On SOME of the sites, the content area background color bleeds into the edit window so that there is no distinction between the edit area and the area around it.

I have tried many fixes and even tried a couple other front-end posting programs. THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. So I know it is not a problem with Buddy Forms, but with how WordPress is handling background colors. In the WP Appearance settings I have set background colors for posts and pages to be WHITE but it doesn’t take effect! Furthermore, I cannot identify any consistent difference between the folders (subsites) where it works as it should and folders (subsites) where the problem persists.

I am up-to-date with the plugin, WordPress, and my theme (Weaver Xtreme).

I am not a programmer so I’m looking for a solution that can be applied by a non-technical (but WordPress-experienced) user.

I realize that it is not your responsibility to fix WordPress problems but I was hoping that either you or readers to these topics might have an idea. Thanks.

Yes. Have not figured out how to solve the background color problem in the edit area of the front-end posting window. Looking for suggestions on what to try from the admin’s dashboard.

    Hello there,

Have you been able to fix this issue?

@machank , Have you tried using a different theme? Maybe the styles of your current theme are overriding the styles of the forms and that is why you see this behavior with all the forms/plugins that you have tried.
