Background Color Full Event – Week View

Is there a way to have this plugin make the background color go all the way around the event in Week View, when it includes the time of event? There seems to always be this default blue background behind the whole element, probably from The Event Calendar default somewhere.
Or do I need to ask The Event Calendar forum how to change the time background to white?
