Background colour in Chrome is messed up

  • Hello All,
    For some reason changing the background of a WP in 2022 child theme is messed up in chrome browser. It looks ok in all other browsers such as safari, firefox, brave and edge. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like in chrome https://imgur.com/a/czOKIL0

    In the dashboard theme editor the background colour is showing perfectly ok, here is the screenshot of the dashboard

    I did clear cache and reloaded pages but it doesn’t fix the issue. I’ve other WordPress blogs as well and I see this issue on all those blogs. We may conclude that it may be Chrome issue but I wanted to know if there is anything we can do to fix it?

    Please increase the width of chrome browser to see the issue as it may not show up if browser width is less than 1000px.

    For some reason changing the background of a WP in 2022 child theme is messed up in chrome browser.

    Apologies for the late response, I wasn’t able to replicate the background color issue. I am using Chrome on a 1000px+ machine.

    I also checked your site and it looks like the background color is displayed as expected, did you manage to resolve the issue?
