There’s a really commun background that is used a lot with WordPress themes, and the past WordPress site even had it. What I need is to know how to do it. A background such as this one (https://winnopeg.com/wp-content/themes/red_is_nice2/images/bg.PNG). It’s rounded off to make itself look closer to your screen than the content. Does anyone know how to do this in Photoshop or possibly have a tut for this?

Sorry for the messed up post, it’s hard to describe ??

  • First, make the background (with the space for your blog to be in the middle).

    Make a new layer.
Use Select tool to select a rectangular box along the edge of where your blog content will go.
Use the gradient tool to create the faded effect within that box that you just selected.

Note: Make sure when you use the gradient tool that you are going from black or a dark color to transparent.

Um, how do you make it black or whatever to transparent? Sorry lol.

In the dialog box of gradient tool, you should see options something like solid-to-solid, solid-to-transparent, etc.
