background imag not showing in ie

    I am currently building a new site from the classic template and I put in a background image of a dotted line to separate the sidebar from the content. However, the dotted image does not show in ie. What can I do?

    heres the css code;
    margin: 30px 13em 0 3em;
    padding-right: 312px;
    position:relative;
    left:156px;
    background-image:url(‘images/divider.jpg’);

    I found the solution! I changed the jpg to gif. I guess ie is so n00bish that it can’t read jpg or something
