• Hey everyone! I started making a few minor changes to the default theme (though it’s basically the same thing.) Everything looks great on my mac in Safari but when I use my dad’s laptop, I seem to see a bit of the background image (kubrickbg.jpg) in the margin before my personalheader.jpg appears. It shouldn’t do that and I’m going crazy trying to find how to fix it…

Can anyone help me!? My page is at https://blog.mattinteractive.com

    THANKS!

  • I’m not seeing anything funny here. Can you maybe post up a screenshot?

I think I’m seeing what you’re seeing when I’m using IE. Perhaps a CSS issue…?

    Sure, here’s a screenshot: https://blog.mattinteractive.com/screen.png

I’m thinking its the CSS too but have no idea what’s causing it. Ahhhhhhhhh!

I’m sorry, unfortunately I’m not a CSS expert. Could you possibly make your header image taller to compensate for that space, or does the space stay on top regardless of the size of your image?

It’s some css in both your header.php and in your style.css called “headerimg” or something similar to that.

There’s also more css regarding the custom header image.

You want to comment out all of that, or remove it if you have a backup.

That will take all of your pain away…

    : )
