    Hello everyone, I am having an issue where my background image is not re-sizing properly when I view it on a mobile device. Wen viewing it on mobile it just comes up as a zoomed in picture. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    I was using Iphone to test on mobile

    I’ve also had this issue for awhile now. It displays on mobile as zoomed way in. You don’t get an adequate look at the background image. It’s been tested on many different phones, always the same result.

    Yes this is true, for me as well. I have not found a way to fix it yet.

    It occurs on everything from Windows Phones to iPads.

    Obviously, I’m already using

    body.custom-background {
        background-size: cover !important;
        background-position: center center !important;
    }

    To update this, I think the reason is that the image resizes to cover the full height of the body (~3000 px) instead of the viewport?

    There is another thread full of examples here

    Yeah, I’ve been using that custom CSS and it did ‘improve’ the way it looks but it’s still not quite fully responsive. I can deal with it, but it would be nice to have it corrected.

    Looks like more of the same issue on that thread too.

    Yes, I’ve got exactly the same problem with this theme, it just shows a tiny section of the background on iOS Safari as well as Android browser, as it doesn’t support resize correctly. Is this fixed in the latest version?
